Actor Ranveer Singh Malik, who is currently essaying the role of Rahul in Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan is known not just for his acting skills but also for his fit body. The actor talked about his fitness regime, diet plans, and more during a recent interview.
Ranveer shared, “Well, I personally believe that fitness is the most important part of our lifestyle. Keep smiling and stay dedicated. Our body is the only place where we have to live. So it’s our responsibility to take care of it very well. In an actor’s life, fitness plays an important role. I have realized that when I am physically in a good place, it makes me feel confident in myself. You should always strive to be comfortable the way you are. Regular exercise and good eating make you feel better.”
He further added, “Acting is also very taxing and it also requires some form of physical work, so remaining strong, fit, and flexible will help your acting work as well. If I have to talk about my workout regime, for physical fitness, staying mentally strong is also important. We see actors going through a lot of mental stress these days so I take care of my mental well-being by doing yoga every day 20 mins in the morning and 10 mins meditation. It keeps me energetic mentally. I workout in the gym 4-5 days a week, which includes cardio sessions as well.”
Talking about his diet plan, the actor said, “A perfect body is made in the kitchen, you are what you eat. You have got to control your binge habits. Watch what your last meal of the day is. It makes the biggest difference. So, if I cut out the carbs when the sun sets, if you don’t have sugar and starchy carbs, stick to just protein and veggies you will be fine. The most important part of fitness is to keep yourself hydrated.”
